Apparently, there's a *$!#@$^ Shriner convention in town the day of our wedding, so a bunch of old guys wearing fez' and driving go-karts have booked the entire town, even managing to steal our hotel reservations. The next time I see any of these guys begging for change in traffic, I'm running them down. Registry: "What's that you say? You want to buy us a wedding gift? Directions to Helen, Georgia From 85 South: Take the GA-17 exit (exit number 173) toward Lavonia/Toccoa. Take the ramp toward Martin/Toccoa/Helen. Turn left onto GA-17/Jones St. and continue to follow GA-17. Turn left onto GA-17 N. Turn right onto GA-115/GA-17/US 441 BR. Turn right onto GA-115/GA-17/GA-197. Turn left onto Monroe St/GA-115/GA-17. Continue to follow GA-115/GA-17. Turn right onto GA-75 and follow into Helen. From 85 North: Take 85N and merge onto I-985 (exit number 113) on the left towards Gainesville. Take Exit 24 . Route 129. Turn left after exiting the ramp. Turn Right on Limestone/Route GA-129/GA-11. Turn right when Limestone comes to a dead end (continue to follow GA-129/Ga-11). Continue following GA-129/Ga-11 through Cleveland. Turn right onto GA-75 and follow into Helen. Directions to Alpine Wedding Chapel: Once in Helen, follow Main Street (GA-75) into town. Turn right onto Munich Strasse (Wendy.s on Right). Chapel will be on your right.
